EDITING PROCESS FINAL CUT

I started my editing first by exporting all the clips into capcut. since i had my story board and an idea of how i wanted to edit the final music video i decided to start assembling each clip piece by piece. The intro of the music video was shot at 2x speed so some footage had to be slowed down to sync with the music
Next i decided to use layering and splice and create 'compound clips' to make it easier to move multiple edited clips. Since the clips are already dominant with bright colors, i tried my best to use minimal effects and vfx to enhance and not take away from the original aesthetic.

i did most of my color grading on premire pro while also choosing some filters from capcut so that i can add more to individual clips and rendering does not affct my pc. Texts were also added using keyframes so that i can create gradients that match with the clip on screen. I made an effort to test around with angles and rotations with scale so that the music video is more eye catching.
