PRODUCTION CHALLENGES

 

While filming and editing the "One Kiss" music video, my partner and I faced a number of challenges.  Firstly, finding a suitable filming location was very difficult. We aimed to find settings that resonated with the song's mood, yet this task required considerable effort and time to accomplish. we tried to avoid any locations where shooting again might be difficult or costly so we aimed to utilize more appropriate locations

Second, coordinating schedules was difficult. We both had other commitments like school etc so finding time to shoot together and planning was a bit of a headache but multiple zoom calls and after school courses helped put our idea together faster. This came in handy when we decided to change our final idea for the music video which also took ample time and careful consideration.

furthermore editing the video to ensure it flows smoothly was another struggle. We needed to make sure the visuals matched the energy of the song while still expressing the theme so the constant back and forth between softwares made it time consuming and hectic. As the editor, facing an editors block was also hard. since I had become used to looking and making changes to the same project, the repeated overplaying song gave me a hard time to focus. however despite these challenges, we worked together and overcame them to create a music video we are proud of.
